Yara Ford is the Chief Financial Office and Chief Operating Officer at IFSI, where she oversees all aspects of finance and accounting. She is dedicated to empowering staff, addressing capacity needs, strengthening financial planning, supporting organizational growth, streamlining business processes, and implementing new policies to enhance financial management and minimize risk. Yara brings over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, with a robust background in nonprofit leadership.

Before joining IFSI, Yara served as the Chief Operating Officer for a national nonprofit, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the organization’s mission. She is actively involved in community service, having co-chaired a Mental Health Advisory Council and served on the board of the Edmond Public Schools Foundation. She was recognized as a Champion of Character by the Character Council and the City of Edmond for her efforts in addressing issues related to childhood trauma.

Yara holds a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management from The University of Phoenix and has specialized training in nonprofit leadership, grant management, and HIPAA compliance. Yara is dedicated to expediting the successful integration of immigrants into the United States with justice and dignity, while passionately advocating for the well-being of children and families.
